PREPARATION FOR THE TRIDUUM
MINISTERS OF THE WORD Those taking part in our Holy Thursday and Good Friday Services are invited to come together on Wednesday 4 April at 8.00pm. Easter Vigil Readers meet on Monday 2 April at 7.30pm - please see noticeboard to check your readings.
MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION Please check the list in the porch for the Triduum services you are involved in. The Renewal of Commitment takes place for all Ministers at the Mass of the Lord's Supper.
SINGING Please come along to practise our singing for Easter. We gather in the Upper Room on Monday 2 April at 7.30pm to 8.30pm - hope you can make it.
THE BIG CLEAN - Wednesday. Please can you help clean the church for Easter any lime between 9am and 4pm? My help would be gratefully appreciated.
A RETIRING COLLECTION will be taken today for flowers for the Church at Easter.
CHRISM MASS - Tuesday 3 April, 12 noon at the Cathedral, Middlesbrough. The coach leaves the Memorial Gardens at 9.30am. Cost £7 - pay on the coach.
GOOD FRIDAY EVENING SERVICE in the Minster at 7.30pm. The Procession of Witness starts from the Parliament Street Fountain at 6.45pm.
Silent Witness with the Cross in Coppergate 3.00pm-5.00pm. All very welcome.
THE ANOINTING OF THE SICK will take place on Sunday 15 April during Mass at 3.00pm. If you can help with transport for those who need it - please put your name on the list in the porch. If you know of people who need Transport please also put their names on the list.

ALTAR SERVERS The Diocesan Youth Service is having an evening for all York Altar Servers in the Father Kelly Room at Our Lady's on Thurs. 26 April. 6.30pm - 8.00pm. Supper, recreation, information and reflection. Please put your name on the list in the Sacristy if you are attending. RCIA - A follow-up to the Information Evenings is a course at Ampleforth. Four Saturday mornings and Two fill Saturdays 21 April - 16 June. Cost £40. See poster for further information.
OFFERTORY ENVELOPES the 2007/8 boxes are available today. The Parish Financial Report for 2006 is available in the porch.
GIFT AID The parish receives more than £500 in the loose plate nearly every week. This is a great help to the parish but if you pay tax you could sign a Gift Aid Form as it enables the church to claim an extra 28p in each £1 from the Inland Revenue, Please consider this and help the Church by filling in the form in the church porch.
DIOCESAN YOUTH COUNCIL 18-30 year olds meet Tuesday 17 April, 7.30pm at St George's.
A DIOCESAN STUDY DAY 'Travelling in the Borderlands' exploring the dynamics of transition and change for Parish. Priest and People at English Martyrs Hall, Fri. 18 May Sat. 19 May, 10.30am - 4pm. A list will be out for names in the coming weeks. See poster for details.
