MJNISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST Wed 4 Sep. 7.30pm in the Upper Room. DAY FOR MINISTERS OF THE WORD - Saturday 19 October at York University. The charge for each participant is £17.50. St Wilfrid's participants are asked to contribute £8.50 towards the day - list in porch for names. CONGRATULATIONS to Claire Smailes and Neil Breen and Joanna Perry and Dominic Martin who were married here at St Wilfrid's this weekend. LITURGY PREPARATION Thurs 5th, 7pm in the Upper Room. All welcome. SUMMER DRAW Congratulations to all our winners - please see result sheet on the noticeboard in the porch. Thanks to all who supported the raffle in any way - a total of £525 was raised for the Refurbishment Fund. BARN DANCE Friday 13 September at English Martyrs Hall. The evening will be led by Kath Greener and the Cornlanders Entrance £3.50. Bring a plate for the shared table and a bottle of your choice. Come along and enjoy the fun - if you don't dance just enjoy the company. Proceeds St Wilfrid's Refurbishment. ST SAMPSON'S FUNDRAISING DAY Monday 16 September for St Wilfrid's Refurbishment Fund. This is our annual event that has helped the parish so much in the past. As this is the last time that St Sampson's is available we hope to have a very successful day. Help is needed in all areas - all the usual stall items, cakes, tombola prizes, bric-a-brac etc and your help on the day would be much appreciated. Please see list in porch. DAY OF REFLECTION Tues 8 Oct 10.30am - 3.30pm at St Aelred's new centre on Fifth Avenue. Please see noticeboard for further details. ASCENT OUTING TO NOSTELL PRIORY Wed 11 Sep. Departs Memorial Gardens 9.45am, Our Lady's l0am - back in York 5.30pm approx. Coach £4. Hse and Gdns £4.50, Grounds only £2. All welcome. List in porch for names. CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE are celebrating 90 years in York with a Mass in the Bar Convent Chapel on Thursday 19 Sep at noon. All welcome.
