FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION Theme 'Caring' . Every time we celebrate the Eucharist we exercise our priestly function as the family of God by interceding for all people in the General Intercessions (Prayer of the Faithful). By helping our children take note of the needs of others, we help them develop empathy. Loving compassion for others is a basic step in conscience formation. By our example of caring about and helping those in need, our children learn to express their compassion and care for those who are sick, hurt, sad, lonely, finding difficuly in doing school work etc. Parents Meeting : Wednesday 5 February 7.30pm Children's Gathering : Saturday 8 February 10.00am Parish Celebration : Sunday 16 February 11.00am
