FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION 'Listening'. In this theme we look at the readings from scripture and the chants (psalms) between these readings that form the main part of the Liturgy of the Word. YOUTH SUNDAY - 23 November 2008. Calling all young people (14 - 25 years) to prepare the Liturgy for the 1lam Mass on Youth Sunday. The meeting takes place on Monday 3 November 7 - 8.30pm in the Upper Room. There will be another event for young people on the same day at All Saints, 3.00pm - 6.00pm. MUSIC FOR ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS: A practical session for cantors, musicians, singers at St Wilfrid's Church on Monday 17 November, 7.00pm - 9.00pm led by Father Bill Charlton.

VISIT OF RELICS OF ST THERESE'OF LISIEUX to England and Wales. As you may have heard, the relics of St Therese will be visiting England and Wales this time next year. We hope this will be a time of great grace for us and for many people in our land. Catholics, other Christians, members of other faiths and no faith will all be welcome to pray by her relics. You are invited to use this forthcoming year as a time of preparation, by praying for the visit and reading about St Therese on the special website that has been set up: www.catholicrelics.co.uk At present the relics are expected at York Minster 1-2 Oct. 2009.
