CAFOD HARVEST FAST DAY - Friday 1 October. Harvest may be a time of plenty for many of us, but 800 million people in the world go hungry every day. When you give something up and share what you have, you prove poverty is not inevitable. Your envelopes will be collected as you leave Mass today. Please fill in the Gift Aid form if you are a taxpayer.
FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION The first of our nine themes is 'Celebrating'. Each theme is centred on a specific action in family living, in the life of Jesus, and in a particular part of the Mass. The action of 'Celebrating' is related in the story of the Wedding Feast at Cana. When we gather together as the family of God, we celebrate and praise God.

THE PENA FAMILY Maria Abel and Paulina have been part of our family here at St Wilfrid's over the past years. They have been involved as a Welcoming Team, in the Ministry of the Eucharist, in the Liturgy of the Word with Children and have organised our Mexican Fiestas.
