DAY OF LIFE - Sunday 4 July. This day has been set aside by the Bishops of England and Wales on the first Sunday of July each year. The theme this year is the Blessing of Families. You will be given a colour newsletter today as you leave Mass.

SISTER EMILY (some will remember her as Sister Gerard) former headteacher of St Wilfrid's Secondary and St Margaret Clitherow Schools, died peacefully during the week. A memorial service will be held for her in the near future. Further details later. Please remember her and her grieving family at this time.

SPRINGBOARD - Sunday 11 July at Ampleforth Abbey, 11.30am - 6.00pm. Mass 12 noon. After Mass the swimming pool and other sports facilities will be available until 4.00pm. Disco in Sports Hall at 4.30pm.
SPONSORED WALK : Thanks to those who walked the 'walls' and those who sponsored us so generously. Up to the present time £1320.00 has been raised. £1,000 of this total was given by one family.
THE STRAWBERRY FAYRE raised £358.68 last Saturday. Thanks to all who worked so hard and who supported the event.
