WELCOME AND THANKS to Canon John Mortell and Fr Mark Paterson who are celebrating our Masses with us today.
CHANGES IN SERVICE TIMES: We will continue with the 10am Saturday Mass in St Margaret's Shrine but the 12 noon in Church on Saturday is discontinued. Saturday Confessions will now be 10.30am - 12 noon only.
CANON MICHAEL: I will be with my family in Ireland until Wednesday 9 January. The priests from the area will be supplying during this time.
RCIA: Our first meeting after the Christmas break will take place on Tuesday 15 January at 7.30pm in the Rectory.
CONFIRMATION PREPARATION: The next gathering takes place on Wednesday 23 January at 7 - 8.30pm in the Rectory. Please keep these young people in your prayers.
MARRIAGE PREPARATION: There are three courses planned for this year at St Bede's Pastoral Centre, Blossom Street - Saturdays 9 March, 22 June and 9 November. The cost is per couple. To book please ring 789115 or 339920.
FUNDRAISING MEETING: Monday 14 January, 7.30pm in the Rectory.
HELP! More church cleaners needed - just a couple of hours once a month.

CHRISTMAS DRAW: Thanks to all who made the Draw a success - a total of was raised for the Refurbishment Fund - see list of winners in porch.
TEA AND COFFEE will be served after both the 9.00am and 11.00am Sunday Masses in the Rectory until the Upper Room is reopened. All welcome.

THE EURO: With the introduction of the Euro many people will have small amounts of old currency notes from their holidays. Tese can be handed in at Church and the diocese can convert them into sterling for the Clergy Retirement Appeal Fund.
