A BIG THANKYOU to the ladies who work so hard throughout the year serving refreshments in the Upper Room on the last Saturday of the month. Over £600 was raised last weekend towards the Church building maintenance fund.

ST WILFRID'S PARISH CHRISTMAS PARTY. Fri. 12 Dec., 6.30pm - midnight at York Health Service Club, White Cross Rd. Dancing, food, raffle, etc. Tickets available today at £5.

DONATIONS: Thanks to those who have recently donated monies to the Church. We have also been in receipt of a legacy of £20,000 from a lady who lived outside the parish. This extra income is a great help to the maintenance of our buildings (church, rectory and St Margaret Clitherow's Shrine). Our weekly income struggles to meet the demands of all the running costs of our parish.

RETIRING COLLECTIONS: Next weekend our collection will be for the SVP charities. The weekend of 20/21 December will be for flowers for the Christmas season.

CHURCH CLEANING: A very small group of dedicated people has been cleaning the Church over the past year. More help is urgently needed - please put your name on the list in the porch to join the monthly rota.

WELCOME TO OUR VISITORS and thanks for joining in our Celebration. We hope you enjoy your time in York. Young children are most welcome to join in the Children's Liturgy at the 11 am Mass. It helps the parish if tax-paying visitors would use the small white Gift Aid envelope (found at the back of Church) for any offerings you wish to make.
