HARVEST FAST DAY - Friday 6 October. Before CAFOD helped us get the cows it was so difficult for us to survive, we were so poor we couldn't to even feed our children. Ribakare Bakunzi, 30, farmer and father of eight, Democratic Republic of Congo. Thanks to CAFOD's support a local organisation has given a herd of cows to Bakunzi's community. Farmers' groups work together to look after the cows and sell their milk to a dairy so they can afford to feed their families. Your envelope will be collected today. Thank you

FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION: 'Forgiving' is the second of our nine themes Each theme is centred on a specific action in family living, in the life of Jesus, and in a particular part of the Mass. The action of 'Forgiving' is related in the story of Zacehacus who was a tax collector. The Eucharist helps us to forgive and to seek forgiveness, and to grow in love with God and one another.
