REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY: Our 11am Mass today is offered for all who have died in the wars and for those who are dying at the present time. We pray for those in the Armed Forces currently serving overseas, those who have returned home injured or maimed and who are suffering in mind, body or spirit and for their families.

WE WELCOME Harry Joseph Ethan Sewell who was baptised into the Christian Community this weekend. Congratulations to Harry and his family and friends.

BAPTISM PREPARATION COURSE: The next course for parents with a child for baptism is on Saturdays 14 and 21 November, 2-3pm in the Upper Room. Please contact Fr Michael.

NOVEMBER - MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS: At this time of the year we remember our dead in a special way. If you would like to have your loved ones prayed for in our Masses here in November, please take an envelope from the porch and return it as soon as possible.

MASS OF REMEMBRANCE - Thursday 19 November at 12.10pm. You are invited to take part in this Mass for all your family and friends who have died. Leaflets are available today for the name(s) you are remembering.

YOUTH SUNDAY - 22 November 2009. Calling all young people (14 - 25 years) to a meeting on Monday 9 November, 7pm in the Sacristy, to prepare the Liturgy for the 11am Mass on the 22nd November - the Feast of Christ the King.

The Diocesan Celebration will take place at All Saints School Lower Site 2-6pm on 22nd Nov.

ST WILFRID'S PARISH CHRISTMAS PARTY - Sat. 12 Dec., 6.30pm to midnight at Melodies Park Celebration Centre, Wigginton Road. Tickets £5. Proceeds to the Filipino Flood Appeal.

CHANCY BROTHERS - three Middlesbrough priests and a deacon, will give a concert at The Spa, Scarborough on Friday 20 November at 7.30pm. Tickets £5 adults, £1 children. If interested please sign the sheet at the back of church. If sufficient interest we may look at transport. Proceeds to Martin House Hospice, McMillan Nurses and St Peter's Parish, Scarborough.
