WELCOME TO OUR VISITORS and thanks for joining in our Celebration. We hope you enjoy your time in York. Young children are most welcome to be part of the Children's Liturgy at the 11am Mass. Tea and coffee will be served in the Upper Room after the 11am Mass, to which you are specially invited. It helps the parish if tax-paying visitors could use the small white Gift Aid envelope (found at the back of church for any offerings they are likely to make. For every £1 you give, the government gives us back a further £0.28. Thank you for your help.

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION - this special feast day of Our Lady is celebrated tomorrow (Mon). Our Masses at St Wilfrid's 9am, 12.10pm & 7pm.

ADVENT CELEBRATION of the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the York Pastoral Area takes place on Saturday 21 December, 2.30pm here at St Wilfrid's. The Priests of the Pastoral Area will be available to hear Confessions

PARISH MINISTRIES: Church Cleaning, Serving on the Shop, Welcoming people to Mass, Liturgy of the Word with Children, Music, Cantor, Reader, Catechist, Serving Tea & Coffee after Sunday Masses, Flower Arranging, Procession with the Gifts etc. Please see list in the porch if you can help.

CRIB SERVICE (Tuesday 24 December) - All who would like to help are invited to a meeting on Monday 16 December, 8pm in the Upper Room.

COFFEE AND CRAFTS DAY - Saturday 14 December 10am - 4pm: Those who used their talents to make things (crafts, cakes, preserves, etc.) have the chance to sell them in the Upper Room. Contact Eileen, 706405 for details.

ALL SAINTS SCHOOL : Mr William Scriven, Deputy Headteacher of All Saints has been appointed Headteacher as from 1 September 2003.

ALL SAINTS SCHOOL: The annual Advent Service takes place tomorrow (Mon) 9 December, 7.30pm at the Minster. Refreshments St Williams College.

ASCENT (an International movement for Christians of 50 years plus). The next meeting of the City Centre Group is Wednesday 29 January, 12.45 - 3pm in the Upper Room. Christmas Party at Our Lady's on Tuesday 10 December, 2-4pm. All welcome. Those people who would like to attend the Christmas Lunch on Tues 14 Jan at the Jacobean, are asked to please ring the rectory to put their names on the list.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION: All couples planning to marry at St Wilfrid's are requested to attend one of the courses provided at St Bede's Pastoral Centre, Blossom Street. Dates for 2003 are: Saturdays 8 March, 7 June & 15 November
