RITE OF ELECTION at the Cathedral Sun 17 Feb. If you would like to come and support the people who will be received into the Church at Easter, please put your name on the list in the porch. Coach leaves Memorial Gardens at 1pm.

Friday 15 Feb - St Wilfrid's 12.10pm; Tues 19 Feb - St George's 7.00pm; 26 Feb - St Aelred's 7.00pm; 5 March - St Paulinus 7.00pm; 12 March - English Martyrs 7.00pm; 19 Mar - St Joseph's 7.00pm.

Springs of Encouragement - Rumours in the Wilderness at Central Methodist Church, Wednesdays - Lunches 11.45am-1pm. Speakers 1-1.30pm. See Poster.

In the Wilderness - a five part study course - audio tape is available from the Rectory for anyone who would like to open their home to a few friends to listen and discuss the talks.

PARISH FORUM: Thanks to all who attended last Sunday's meeting - a short account of items discussed can be seen on the noticeboard.

BAPTISM COURSE: If you have a baby for Baptism please get in touch with Canon Michael - next course Saturdays 16 and 23 February and 2 and 9 March.

LITURGY PREPARATION for The Easter Vigil - Monday 18 Feb at 8pm and Holy Thursday and Good Friday on Thursday 21Feb at 7.30pm in Rectory.

SR THERESA IBVM: To show our appreciation for her many years work in the Parish we are having a little celebration here at the Rectory on Sun 10 March.

CHURCH CLEANING: Help! More people are needed to go on the cleaning rota. Just an hour or two a month - please put your name on the list in the porch.

SINGING PRACTICE Mondays 8-9pm (except 18 Feb) for the next six weeks in the Rectory. Let's learn some new hymns for Easter. All welcome.
