THE RITE OF ELECTION: Today (Sunday) we travel with Sam, Stephen and Lars and their families to the Cathedral in Middlesbrough where they will be welcomed by the Bishop. The coach leaves the Memorial Gardens at 1.15pm - all seats are now taken. At the 11.00am Mass today Sam, Stephen and Lars will be prayed for and sent forth from our community.

DAY BY DAY - is a useful booklet to help our prayer during Lent and is available from the porch at £1.00, also Bible Alive at £1.95.
MARRIAGE PREPARATION: Courses for 2008 are Saturdays, 26 April, 14 June and 8 November. All take place at St Bede's Pastoral Centre, Blossom Street. Application forms available from Canon Michael.
MINISTERS OF THE WORD: We meet at 8.00pm on Wednesdays in the Upper Room. I encourage all readers to attend and anyone else who would like to come.

CATHOLIC PARLIAMENTARY INTERNSHIPS: The Bishops' Conference has been running this scheme for the last 5 years, placing three recent graduates each year with Christian MPs at Westminster.
