CHRISM MASS - Tuesday 26 March. A coach will leave the Memorial Gardens at 9.30am and Our Lady's, Acomb at 9.45am. If you would like a seat, please put your name on the list in porch indicating your preferred pick-up point. £5.

LENT: Station Masses: We are being called together during Lent for the celebration of Mass around the York Pastoral Area. This week - Tuesday 12 March 7.00pm at English Martyrs and Friday 12.10pm at St Wilfrid's.

Stations of the Cross - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 11.30am

Lenten Lunches - Fridays after 12.10 Mass in the Rectory

SINGING PRACTICE FOR EASTER Monday 8.00-9.00pm. All welcome.

CONFIRMATION GROUP meet on Wed. 13 March, 7-8.30pm in the Rectory. Please keep these young people and their families in your prayers at this time.

RECONCILIATION SERVICE for the people of the York Pastoral Area - Saturday 23 March at 3pm here at St Wilfrid's. A number of priests will be present from the locality to offer everyone the opportunity of individual confession. It is a time for parents to bring along their children - for children learn what they live.

GOSPEL CHALLENGE WEEKEND - Fri 17 - Sun 19 May. This special time requires a commitment on the part of each person for the whole weekend starting at 7pm on the Friday, full day Sat and Sun afternoon. Booking forms out soon.

PARISH FINANCE: Thanks to all who have returned the Gift Aid Enquiry Forms. This will help the Church greatly. There are Enquiry Forms available in the porch if you have not yet completed one.

HOUSE GROUP - Tuesday 12 March at 33 Middlethorpe Drive, Tadcaster Road 8 to 9.30pm. Vatican II video and discussion. All welcome.

SR THERESA IBVM: To show our appreciation for her many years work we are having a celebration at the Rectory today (Sun) 4-6pm. All welcome.

FUNDRAISING MEETING - Monday 11 March at 7.30pm in the Rectory.

FLOWERS FOR EASTER : A meeting for all interested in beautifying the Church for Easter takes place on Thursday next, 7.30pm in the Rectory.

A RETIRING COLLECTION for flowers for Easter will be taken next week.

JUST 10 - inviting people outside the Church to consider the Christian message based on the relevance of the 10 Commandments today. 10 Evenings over 10 weeks on the 10 Commandments. Apr-May-June 2002 in York Minister. Day of Prayer today (Sunday).

WALSINGHAM ASSOC Wed 13 Mar at St Paulinus Church at 2.30pm. Margaret Granger Memorial Pilgrimage to Ladyewell, Saturday 8 June.
