REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY Today we remember those who died in the wars and we offer our 11am Mass for them.

FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION Our first theme is 'Celebrating'. We have the parish celebration on Sunday 17 November at 11am.

DIOCESAN CATECHISTS COURSE 2003/4 - a part-time course, over four terms, designed to help lay people deepen their understanding of what it is to be a faithful and responsible member of the Church, and develop their gifts and the confidence to use them in partnership with priests and people. More information and application forms from the Rectory. See noticeboard also.

MASS OF REMEMBRANCE - Friday 22 November at 12.10pm. You are invited to take part in this Mass for all your family and friends who have died over the last few years. Candles will be available (£1) to bring up to the Altar in memory of your loved ones. If you would like to take part in this ceremony please take a leaflet from the Church porch today.

GOODBYE Dick Norman has been doing tremendous work in this parish and in our hospitals over a number of years for which we sincerely thank him. He and Marjorie are now leaving us and going to live in Oxford - we wish them every blessing and happiness in their new home.

ADVENT REFLECTION led by Sr Cecilia, Sun 1 Dec. 2-6pm in Upper Room.

CHRISTMAS DRAW - tickets available today. We are appealing for prizes - Christmas Cake, bottles of wines/spirits, biscuits, chocolates and toys and of course any help towards the first prize would be appreciated. See list in porch.

ASCENT (an international movement for Christians of 5O years plus). The meetings will take place on the last Wednesday of each month, 12.45 - 3pm in the Upper Room. Please bring a sandwich etc for a shared lunch.

YOUTH SUNDAY - Feast of Christ the King, 24 November. The young people of the diocese are invited to a gathering at Sacred Heart Church, Middlesbrough for Mass at 2.30pm followed by Disco finishing at 7pm. Please see noticeboard.

ALL SAINTS SIXTH FORM An Open Evening for students intending to enter Sixth Form in September 2003 takes place on Wednesday 20 November at All Saints Upper Site, Mill Mount Lane 7 - 9pm.
