A WARM WELCOME to our community - Martha and Miroslava who are newly Baptised, also Desmond who was received into full communion with us, and Nadja who was Confirmed. May they be strong and gentle witnesses to the Risen Christ.

THANKS TO ALL who were involved in our Lenten and Easter Liturgies - Church Cleaners, Readers, Cantors, Musicians, Servers, flower arrangers, those who prepared the Lenten lunches and supported them.

THE LORD WHO SPEAKS - A day of scripture reading and prayer at Ampleforth Abbey for Christians of all denominations in North and East Yorkshire. Saturday 24th July 10.30am - 3.30pm. Soft drinks provided - bring your own lunch.

PARISH FINANCE Thanks to those who have responded to the appeal for increasing the parish income. If you are not contributing through the envelope system or Bankers Order, would you please consider doing so? Forms are available in the porch, please complete and return to Canon Michael. The envelopes for the next financial year are available for collection today.

DAY OF REFLECTION organised by the Ascent Movement, Wednesday 19 May at English Martyrs Hall, 10.30am - 3.30pm. The day will be led by Sister Cecilia Goodman CJ. Please bring a small contribution to a shared lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided. The cost of the day will be £4. All very welcome.
