CANON MICHAEL : I will be on holiday until 22 August with my family in Ireland. Thanks to all the local priests who have generously offered to celebrate the weekday Masses and look after the hospitals. Thanks also to the priests who are supplying on Sundays. BARN DANCE Friday 13 September at English Martyrs Hall. The evening will be led by Kath Greener and the Cornlanders. Tickets £3.50. Bring a plate for the shared table and a bottle of your choice. Come along and enjoy the fun - if you don't dance just enjoy the company. Proceeds St Wilfrid's Refurbishment MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST - Formation and Recommissioning Day, Sat 5 Oct at York University. The charge for each participant is £15 (includes dinner, coffee, hire of hall and the cost of the speaker etc). St Wilfrid's ministers are asked to contribute £7.50 towards the day - list in the porch for names. MINISTRY OF THE WORD Our weekly meetings are discontinued until 11 Sep. LOURDES FUNDRAISING DAY at St Crux - Thursday 5 September, 10am 3.30pm. If you could help on the day, please put your name on the list in the porch. Cakes, bric-a-brac, etc. (not clothes) welcome.
