ST WILFRID'S 13CENTENARY- Tomorrow, Monday 12 October we celebrate this landmark with Mass at 7pm and afterwards at the Guildhall. Bishop Terry and a number of local clergy will be joining us. Hope we can all be together for this great occasion. A finger buffet is to be served at the Guildhall afterwards. Donations of food to be delivered to the Guildhall after 3.30pm. This is a historic occasion - it would be good to see you there.
FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION: The second of our nine themes is 'Forgiving'. Each theme is centred on a specific action in family living, in the life of Jesus and in a particular part of the Mass. The action of 'Forgiving' is related in the story of Zacchaeus who was a tax collector. The Eucharist helps us to forgive and to seek forgiveness, and to grow in love with God and one another.
