IRAQ APPEAL CAFOD is working on the ground through their sister agency Caritas Iraq to supply urgently needed medicines, clean water and food. If you could help there are envelopes available at the back of Church and also a box for loose change.
THE EASTER TRIDUUM - The culmination of the Liturgical year. It begins with the Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper, the Passion on Good Friday and reaches its high point in the Easter Vigil. Let's celebrate together.
The collection taken on Holy Thursday is for the SVP charities and the one on Good Friday is the customary one for the upkeep of the Holy Places.
SINGING AT EASTER Practices for singing during the Easter Services, Monday 7- 8pm in the Upper Room. Please come along and help prepare for the Great Week.
ECUMENICAL SERVICE in the Minster on Good Friday - 18 April at 7.30pm. Procession of Witness leaves St Sampson's Square at 7pm for the Minster.
MINISTERS OF THE WORD AND CANTORS for the Easter Vigil are asked to come together on Monday at 7.30pm in Church.
MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST are asked to check the list for the Triduum Services they are involved in. The renewal of commitment takes place at the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday.
CHURCH CLEANING for Easter - Wednesday 9am- 11.30 am and 1pm-4pm.
PARISH FINANCE Thanks to those people who have responded to the appeal for increasing the parish income. Forms are available in the porch if you can help.
CHATSWORTH HOUSE - day trip Wed 14 May. Coach departs Memorial Gardens 9.30am, Our Lady's 9.45am. Cost £12 (coach, entrance to house and gardens) - money to be paid at next meeting or when booking. List in porch. All welcome.
