CONFIRMATIONS 2010: Our 10 young people who are preparing for Confirmation will be Confirmed with other young people from the York Deanery on Wednesday 19 May at St Joseph's Church, Clifton.
CHURCH CLEANING FOR CHRISTMAS: Can you spend an hour helping to clean the church on Wednesday 23 December anytime between 9.00am and 12 noon.
THE RETIRING COLLECTION next weekend will be for flowers, etc. for the Church at the Christmas season.

'IN SAFE HANDS'. Age Concern York, is a respite scheme for carers of older people. Volunteers are needed to stay with an older person in their home to give their carer the chance to recharge and carry on caring. Contact Liz Tune on 621020/627995.
SWINE FLU: Here at St Wilfrid's we continue to take the precaution of receiving Holy Communion on the hand only. Holy Communion from the Chalice will be restored when the danger has passed.
A MASS TO CELEBRATE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY LIFE. Sunday 27 December. 5pm at the Cathedral, Middlesbrough. There will be an opportunity for married couples to renew their wedding vows and for everyone to reflect on the joys and challenges of family life. All welcome.
