REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY Today we remember those who died in the wars and for also those who are dying at present. Our 11 00am Mass today is offered for them.

THE YEAR OF THE EUCHARIST October 2004-5. In the 25th year of his Pontificate, Pope John Paul II desired to involve the whole Church more fully in a Eucharistic Reflection. The Eucharist builds, sustains and fortifies the Church, increasing spiritual communion and charity among her members. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place here at St Wilfrid's every Thursday 9.00am - 11.30am.

FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION The theme of our Celebration today is Forgiveness. We look at the story of Zacchaeus and hear his story of reconciliation.

FEAST OF CHRIST THE KING : YOUTH SUNDAY Next Sunday at the 11.00am Mass the young people of the parish are invited to be more deeply involved in the celebration.

A meeting for all who wish to be involved will be held tomorrow (Monday 15) at 7.30pm in the Upper Room. All welcome.

Youth Mass at Our Lady's Church, Sunday 21 November at 5.00pm. Refreshments etc afterwards.

MASS OF REMEMBRANCE - Friday 19 November at 12.10pm. You are invited to take part in this Mass for all your family and friends who have died. Candles will be available (to bring up to the altar in memory of your loved ones. Please take a leaflet today from the Porch today and name the person(s) you are remembering on it and return to the Sacristy as soon as possible.

CHRISTMAS DRAW tickets available today. We are appealing for prizes - Christmas Cake, Hamper bottles of wine/spirits, chocolates, toys and of course any help towards the first prize would be appreciated. Please see list in the porch.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE 10.00am - 3.00pm, Saturday 27 November in the Upper Room. Refreshments all day including warm mince pies. Tombola and other stalls. Please come along and enjoy the company.

THANKS to all who worked and supported our fundraising day at St Crux last Thursday for the Refurbishment Fund.

YOUTH ACTIVITIES PRESENT AND FUTURE : A meeting open to all Priests and Parishioners who are currently or would like to be involved in Youth Work in the Central Vicariate takes place on Tuesday 23 November, 7.00pm - 9.00pm in St Aelred's Parish Hall.

YORK DEANERY DINNER DANCE - Friday 4 February 2005 in the Voltigeur Suite, York Racecourse. Four course meal £21 per head. Could we make up a couple of tables from St Wilfrid's? Please put your name, etc. on the list in the porch if you would like a place.
