WORLD MISSION SUNDAY - next week each parish around the world will celebrate our call to be missionary. Our prayers and donations help to support churches, hospitals, schools, and vocations in countries where the Church is new, young or poor. It is our opportunity to help Catholic communities all over the world; showing the love of God for all, and bringing spiritual and material help to those who need it most. A retiring collection will be taken and if you can gift aid your donation, envelopes are available at the back of church.
BAPTISM We welcome into our Community Matilda Jane Higgins who will be baptised today. Congratulations to all the family.
FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION Today our 11.00am Mass celebrates 'Forgiveness', the second of our nine themes. Each theme is centred on a specific action in family living, in the life of Jesus, and in a particular part of the Mass. The action of 'Forgiving' is related in the story of Zacchaeus who was a tax collector. The Eucharist helps us to forgive and to seek forgiveness, and to grow in love with God and one another.
