WE WELCOME Kirsty and Tina who are received into the Church at the Easter Vigil, to Jo-Neil and Tio-La who are to take the first step towards baptism. Welcome also to Olivia Beal who is to be baptised during our 11.00am Mass.
A BIG THANK YOU to you who helped build up the Church through your involvement in so many areas of parish life over the Lent and Holy Week period. You were very generous with your time, energy and resources - a wonderful experience of many people working together.

CANON MICHAEL'S RUBY JUBILEE - Monday 12 June. Concelebrated Mass at 7.00pm, followed by refreshments. Two marquees have now been booked. Please see notice-board in porch.
IRISH NIGHT Saturday 6 May, 8-11pm at St Wilfrid's School. Tickets £5 inc. supper and entertainment. Come for the craic! Proceeds to Canon Michael's Ruby Jubilee.
LAKE DISTRICT DAY TRIP - Tuesday 16 May organised by the York Ascent Groups. Fare £8. To book please see list in porch.
BISHOP AUGUSTINE HARRIS The official Mass to celebrate Bishop Harris' 40 years as a Bishop will be held at Liverpool Cathedral on 22 June at 6.00pm. Hopefully there will be a coach travelling from York - if you would like to book a seat please put your name on the list in the porch. The fare will be between £10.00 and £15.00. There will be a reception after Mass for all those who attend.
