CONFIRMATION The Sacrament will be celebrated at English Martyrs Church at 7pm this coining Wednesday (19 June). Please support our young people by your prayer and attendance on the night. This is a special time for the parish. We are all invited to be involved. After the Confirmation Mass there will be refreshments for everyone in English Martyrs Hall and we are asked to help by donating sandwiches or cakes etc - these can be taken on the night or delivered here to St Wilfrid's.

FIRST COMMUNIONS 2003 : A meeting for all parents who have children ready to be prepared for First Communion, takes place on Thursday 27 June at 7.30pm in the Upper Room.
DO YOU PLAY AN INSTRUMENT? Our music group meets on Mondays in the Rectory 7.30 - 8.30pm and would love to see some more joining their group. Jane, Ann Marie, Catherine and Jacob will be in the porch after the 11am Mass today - please have a word with them.

MINISTERS OF THE WORD Francesca Murray, a Diocesan Trainer of Readers is coming to St Wilfrid's on Wednesday 10 July at 7pm. All Ministers of the Word are asked to attend.
SUNDAY MASS TIMES As discussed at the Parish Forum the York Pastoral Area is reviewing the number of Masses celebrated and their times. This could mean a reduction in the number of Masses across the city. If you have any comments with regard to this issue please let me have them in writing.
CAFOD An opportunity to hear first hand about CAFOD's work in Zambia - Saturday 6 July 2 - 4pm at the Bar Convent, Blossom Street.
