BISHOP JOHN CROWLEY Large numbers of people throughout the Diocese have asked about giving Bishop John a gift from the people of the Diocese. If you would like to make a contribution collection envelopes are available from the church porch today. Please return the envelopes to church as soon as possible, Towards the end of the year it is hoped that Bishop John will return for a farewell Mass of Thanksgiving for his ministry as our Bishop which is to be held in the Cathedral.

RETIRED PRIESTS WELFARE FUND - a retiring collection will be taken this weekend. This fund supports the retired priests of our Diocese in a small way. Without their help and enthusiastic support. many parishes would be without a Sunday Mass during the holiday period. The Diocese would like to do more, and with your help they can.

RCIA - Involving the Whole Parish Community An evening with Dr Sheila O'Dea exploring the treasurers of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) on Friday 21 September 7-9pm at All Saints Loner School, Nunnery Lane, A donation of £5 is suggested. This evening is open to the whole of the Diocese so booking is essential. If you would like to attend please put your name on the list in the porch today.

WELCOMING PEOPLE INTO THE CATHOLIC CHURCH A meeting for all Catholics who would like to be involved in sharing faith will be held on Tuesday 25 September at 7.30pm in the Upper Room.

Our meetings for those inquiring about the Catholic Church restart on Tues 2 October 7.30 -8.45pm.
