RITE OF ELECTION: Last Sunday a full coach of parishioners accompanied Sam, Stephen and Lars to the Cathedral where they were presented to Bishop Drainey who welcomed them. We continue to pray for them during Lent - also for Veronica who will be Confirmed at the Easter Vigil.

CONFIRMATION Today at our 11am Mass the Candidates celebrate the Rite of Election. As yet we have no definite date for the Celebration of the Sacrament with our new Bishop. The venue is Our Lady's Church, Acomb where all the young Candidates of the York parishes will be Confirmed. Pleased keep all these young people in your prayers.
MARRIAGE PREPARATION: Courses for 2008 are Saturdays, 26 April, 14 June and 8 November. All take place at St Bede's Pastoral Centre, Blossom Street. Application forms available from Canon Michael.
