PRISONERS SUNDAY: There are record numbers of people in prison right now. In a country with the highest rate of imprisonment in Western Europe, work with prisoners and prisoners' families is not popular. We pray especially today for all prisoners and their families and all involved with them.
FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION: Our first theme is 'Celebrating'. We have the parish celebration today (Sunday) at 11am when the children are normally enrolled for their preparation.
MASS OF REMEMBRANCE - Friday 22 November at 12.10pm. You are invited to take part in this Mass for all your family and friends who have died over the last few years. Candles will be available (£1) to bring up to the Altar in memory of your loved ones. If you would like to take part in this ceremony please take a leaflet from the Church porch today.
ADVENT REFLECTION: You are invited to an afternoon led by Sr Cecilia, IBVM on Sunday 1 December 2-6pm in Upper Room. Because numbers are limited please put your name on the list in the porch if you attending.
PARABLE OF THE TALENTS: As you heard from Eileen Sparks last week, today the parish offers you £10 to use in any fruitful way for the benefit of the Church Refurbishment Fund. Please see Eileen or Harry in the porch today.

ASCENT (an International movement for Christians of 50 years plus). The meetings will take place on the last Wednesday of each month, 12.45 - 3pm (27 November) in the Upper Room. Please bring a sandwich etc for a shared lunch.
