FIRST COMMUNION 'Serving'. All of us are called to be servants bringing the Gospel to our world through our many different gifts. 'I did not come to be served, but to serve'. Next Sunday at our 11am Mass the children will be presented with their certificates.
SISTERS TOPIAN. AGNES AND ANASTASIA travelled back to Liberia last Wednesday to rebuild their hospital, school and convent. Sister Topian, who will be greatly missed in the hospital, wrote to thank us all for our material and spiritual support and asks for our continuing prayer.
CALLING ALL MUSICIANS Would you like to give glory to God through playing a musical instrument in Church? If so you have an opportunity to come together with other musicians on Mondays at 6.30pm in the Upper Room. All very welcome.
SINGING on Monday evenings, 7.30pm in the Upper Room. Come along and learn, some new hymns and practise some familiar ones. All very welcome.
CaFE - Catholic Faith Exploration. Helping Catholics get more out of their faith. A series of seven video presentations in English Martyrs Hall on Tuesdays 1, 8, 15,22 June; 6, 13 and 20 July at 7.30pm. All very welcome.
STRAWBERRY FAYRE Saturday 26 June 11am - 5pm. Sandwiches and cakes etc will be served as well as strawberries. Tombola prizes welcome. Also, help on the day would be much appreciated. Proceeds to Church Refurbishment Fund.
CHURCH FLOWERS Willing hands are needed for our flower rota. If you could help please give your name and telephone number to Canon Michael - you do not have to be an expert flower arranger to help in this ministry.

INTERESTED IN LEARNING THE ROPES? St Wilfrid's bellringers are looking for some new recruits to help ring our 10 bells. You don't need to be particularly strong or musical, and age isn't an issue either. Rest assured, you won't go flying up in the air -we like to keep our feet firmly on the ground! We practice every Thursday evening from 7.30 until 9pm, ring before the 11am Mass on Sunday. and have regular social events too. If you'd like to have a go, or perhaps just come along to see what is involved, contact Jacqui Ward on 638432.
