MISSION SUNDAY Just as fire exists by burning so the Church exists by mission. Mission isn't something that the Church does - it is what the Church is. Today we are invited to celebrate this vocation, to break down barriers, to perfect and expand our catholic unity.

GOSPEL CHALLENGE This weekend 25 parishioners are spending time in the Upper Room centred on the Gospel. Please pray for all participating.

ONE WORLD WEEK 20 - 27 October: A time to celebrate the good things about being part of one diverse but interconnected world; to learn what is going on in the world, both close at hand and far away, to take action to change the things that are unjust, that damage the environment, and that cause poverty. See noticeboard for events in the York area.
