FEAST OF CHRIST THE : KING YOUTH SUNDAY Today at the 11.00am Mass the young people of the parish will be more deeply involved in the celebration. Please pray for all the young people of our community. PRISONS WEEK 21 -27 November 2004. Please remember in your prayer all who are in prison at this time and their families. Also, those who work in prisons. THE YEAR OF THE EUCHARIST October 2004-5: Some useful booklets and leaflets are available from the Piety Stall to help us reflect on the great gift of the Eucharist during this coming year. LITURGY OF THE WORD WITH CHILDREN - a meeting for all involved or who would like to be involved in this ministry takes place on Wednesday next (24 November), 7.30pm in the Sacristy. All welcome. ASCENT for people in their middle and later years, Wednesday next (24 November), 12.45pm - 3pm in the Upper Room. All welcome. ORGAN REPAIRS The work has now been completed and the organ is now in tip top condition. The cost of the work was £3,290. MINISTERS OF WORD AND COMMUNION If you are available for Christmas Ministry please put your name on the list in the Church porch. The Workbook for Year A for Readers is now available from the Sacristy at £10. CHRISTMAS DRAW tickets available today. We are appealing for prizes - Christmas Cake, Hamper, bottles of wine/spirits, chocolates, toys and of course any help towards the first prize would be appreciated. Please see list in the porch. CHRISTMAS FAYRE 10.00am - 3.00pm, Saturday 27 November in the Upper Room. Refreshments all day including warn' mince pies. Tombola and other stalls - prizes needed. Please come along and enjoy the company. CAROLS with the Chanticleer Singers Friday 10 December here at St Wilfrid's Church at 8pm. Tickets £7 Concessions £5- from St Wilfrid's Church. YOUTH ACTIVITIES PRESENT AND FUTURE : A meeting open to all Priests and Parishioners who are currently or would like to be involved in Youth Work in the Central Vicariate takes place on Tuesday 23 November, 7.00pm - 9.00pm in St Aelred's Parish Hall. YOUNG MUSICIANS. SINGERS. BANDS - Talent Competition for the title 'Pope Idol 2005 at Middlesbrough Theatre 5 March 2005. Are you interested in taking part?
