800 YEARS OF THE CARMELITE WAY OF LIFE will be celebrated with Mass in York Minster on Saturday 5 May at 11.00am. Entry by ticket only - please have a word with Canon if you would like to go. All very welcome
ALTAR SERVERS The Diocesan Youth Service is having an evening for all York Altar Servers in the Father Kelly Room at Our Lady's on Thurs. 26 April, 6.30pm - 8.00pm. Supper, recreation, information and reflection. Please put your name on the list in the Sacristy if you are attending.
APOLOGIES to users of the Loop system. Our unit was stolen during church cleaning in Holy Week. We hope to have a replacement soon.
OFFERTORY ENVELOPES - the 2007/8 boxes are available today. The Parish Financial Report for 2006 is available in the porch.
GIFT AID The parish receives more than £500 in the loose plate nearly every week. This is a great help to the parish but if you pay tax you could sign a Gift Aid Form as it enables the church to claim an extra 28p in each £1 from the Inland Revenue. Please consider this and help the Church by filling in the form in the church porch.
PARISH FORUM Sunday 29 April, 3.30pm - 5.00pm in the Upper Room. If you have any items for the agenda please hand them in by Friday 27 April.
PARISH FUNDRAISING MEETING Monday 30 April at 7.30pm in the Sacristy.
REFRESHMENTS will be served in the Upper Room on Saturday next (28 April), 10.00am - 3.00pm. Any donation of cakes, etc. would be gratefully received.
PRIESTS' TRAINING FUND - this annual collection will be taken next weekend.
