FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION: The first meeting for parents takes place on Wed. 16 October at 7.30pm in the Upper Room. Further details later.
WILF PENNINGTON, our organist, died very suddenly last weekend. He served the Church very generously and quietly over many years. He will be sorely missed both at Our Lady's and here at St Wilfrid's where he played for both Sunday Masses. May the choirs of angels welcome him. His funeral takes place here tomorrow, Monday, at 12.10pm.
THANKS to all who worked and supported our fundraising events last week. The Barn Dance raised £288.66 - special thanks to Kath Greener and the Cornlanders who gave their services free. The St Sampson's Day raised £927 - a wonderful result from lots of hard work!
PARISH FORUM : Due to St Sampson's Fundraising Day the next forum has been postponed to Sunday 6 October, 3.30pm in the Upper Room. Box for Agenda items in the porch.
LITURGY OF THE WORD WITH CHILDREN : A meeting for all involved in this ministry takes place on Monday 23 September, 8pm in the Upper Room.
