CONGRATULATIONS to Jane Wilson on her recent success in attaining her Nursing Degree. She has made a great contribution to our Church through her involvement in the music ministry, RCIA. She also erected and decorated our Christmas tree with Emma. She leaves York today for her home town of Preston and we wish her well.
MARGARET CLITIIEROW - Saint of York A new book on St Margaret, written by a parishioner, John Rayne-Davis, is now available at the Piety Stall in the porch. Price £7.50. Margaret was executed for her faith in 1586 here in York and I highly recommend this book - it makes a good stocking filler.
HUNDRED CLUB Quarterly and monthly subscriptions are due by 2 January 2003. We have several numbers vacant - why not give it a go? Application forms in porch.
ASCENT (an international movement for Christians of 50 years plus). The next meeting of the City Centre Group is Wednesday 29 January, 12.45 - 3pm in the Upper Room. Those who would like to attend the Christmas Lunch on Tues 14 Jan at the Jacobean, are asked to please ring the rectory to put their names on the list.
SVP CHARITIES - retiring collection today. The SVP have many calls on their funds and your giving today is an expression of solidarity with them in their great work.

COLLECTIONS Gift Aid : £129.00: Loose Plate: £517.43; Flowers £144.19
WELCOME TO OUR VISITORS and thanks for joining in our Celebration. We hope you enjoy your time in York. Young children are most welcome to be part of the Children's Liturgy at the 11am Mass. Tea and coffee will be served in the Upper Room after the 11am Mass, to which you are specially invited. It helps the parish if tax-paying visitors could use the small white Gift Aid envelope (found at the back of church) for any offerings they are likely to make. For every £l you give, the government gives us back a further £0.28. Thank you for your help. Diocese of Middlesbrough Registered Charity No. 233748
