FIRST HOLY COMMUNION - So that others may share in the celebrations with the children of the parish who have recently received the First Communion, we would like to invite these children to bring a photograph of themselves to put on the board in the porch. The photos will not be labelled but we would ask you to write the child's name on the reverse and pin it onto the board. Thank you.

CONGRATULATIONS to Claire Gedling and Philip Kelly who were married this weekend.

GOLDEN WEDDING Congratulations to Margaret and Tom Buckle who celebrate fifty years of marriage this week. We wish them many more years of happiness.

MANY THANKS for your generosity at the celebration of my Ruby Jubilee of Priesthood recently. I have received an additional cheque this week of £696.54. This marks the closure of the Jubilee Fund and thanks to all who contributed and worked so hard to make it such a memorable occasion.

REFRESHMENTS will be served next Saturday (29 July) 10.00am - 3.30pm in the Upper Room. Please support by baking or supporting by your presence. Proceeds to the Building Fund.

IRISH NIGHT Many thanks to Margaret Walsh and the parishioners of St Alred's who organised the Irish Night to raise finds for St Wilfrid's Buildings Fund. A total of £415 was raised and a great night was had by all.
