RT REV TERENCE PATRICK DRAINEY our new Bishop will be visiting York from Tuesday to Thursday of this week. We look forward to welcoming him here at St Wilfrid's on Thursday for the 12.10pm Mass. All very welcome. He is also visiting St Wilfrid's School in the afternoon.
FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION : Today at our 11.00am Mass the children celebrate the theme 'Giving' which focuses on the Procession with the Gifts and the preparation of the altar.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION: Courses for 2008 are Saturdays, 26 April, 14 June and 8 November. All take place at St Bede's Pastoral Centre, Blossom Street. Application forms available from Canon Michael.

ST PATRICK'S DAY this year will be celebrated here at St Wilfrid's with Mass on Friday 14 March at 12.10pm and afterwards refreshments and music in the Upper Room.. All welcome. Because the 17th falls within Holy Week the feast is brought forward this year.
