LENT FAST DAY - Friday 2 March. 'livesimply...give generously'. Lent is a good time for us Catholics to get back to basics. When Lent comes round our instinct is to attempt to be better, to make an extra effort to integrate our faith into our lives. This year the livesimply challenge offers a practical way to do this. It is an invitation to look hard at the choices we make about our lifestyles and take steps for positive change. Please take an envelope home today and support CAFOD by sharing what you can with those in need.
Tips for Living Simply
1 Pray - Spend at least ten minutes a week praying and reflecting on the Gospel.
2 Give up luxury - Need it, or just want it? Go without one of life's little luxuries for Lent: chocolate, wine, eating out, taxis
