MASS OF REMEMBRANCE - Friday 21 November at 12.10pm. You are invited to take part in this Mass for all your family and friends who have died. Candles will be available (£1) to bring up to the altar in memory of your loved ones.

PRIESTS' TRAINING FUND : The annual collection will be taken next weekend. At present we have three students studying for the priesthood - 2 in Ushaw & one in Rome.
RENOVATION OF HIGH LEVEL CHURCH GUTTERS : The gutters are in poor repair and this is causing damage to the stonework. Our architect has obtained 3 quotes and the Diocese has accepted one at £13,695 plus VAT. I am informed that with a building of this age maintenance is of the utmost importance. As winter is fast approaching the work will be carried out in April/May 2004 - this will give us a bit more time to get our monies together.
