MINISTRY OF THE WORD : Our weekly meetings are discontinued now for the Summer. We begin again on Wednesday 11 September.
MUSIC GROUP : Congratulations to our musicians who provided the music for us at the 11am Mass last Sunday. We look forward to their leading us at regular intervals in the future. If you would like to be part of this group you will be most welcome. Practice begins again in September - Mondays 7-8pm.
LITURGY PREPARATION for September takes place on Thursday 1 August at 7pm in the Upper Room. All welcome.
SUMMER DRAW : Tickets are available today. Please take a few books as you leave Church and sell them to your family and friends. If you could also help by making a donation towards the first prize or any other prize, please put your name on the list in the porch. Tickets 50p. First Prize £200.

CANON MICHAEL: I will be on holiday from the 29 July to 22 August with my family in Ireland. Thanks to all the local priests who have generousily offered the celebrate the weekday Masses and look after the hospitals. Thanks also to Fr John Murphy who will be supplying for two Sundays and on the third Sunday there will be a Mission Appeal. Please note Monday - Friday 12.10pm Mass only from 29 July to 26 August. Also, Eucharistic Devotion on Thursday will start again in September.
CONGRATULATIONS to Thomas Dickenson and Catherine McMullan who were married here this weekend.
ST WILFRID'S HUNDRED CLUB - Monies must be in by the last Sunday of the month to be eligible for the Draw. There are a few vacant numbers if you would like to join - application forms in the porch. The odds are much better than the lottery! Go on, give it a try. £5 per month.

ST GEORGE'S DINNER DANCE - Friday 22 November. Ebor Suite, York Racecourse. Live band with singer, four course meal - all for £19.50 per head. This is always a lovely Deanery get-together. List out next week.
