THE YEAR OF THE EUCHARIST October 2004-5: Some useful booklets and leaflets are available from the Piety Stall to help us reflect on the great gift of the Eucharist during this coming year.

ADVENT PENITENTIAL SERVICE for the York Pastoral Area takes place here at St Wilfrid's at 2.30pm on Saturday 18 December. The priests of the area will be available for confessions.

MINISTERS OF WORD AND COMMUNION If you are available for Christmas Ministry please put your name on the list in the Church porch.

The Workbook for Year A for Readers is now available from the Sacristy at £10.

MINISTERS OF COMMUNION The next Prayer time and meeting takes place on Thursday 9 December, 7.30pm - 8.30pm in the Upper Room.

CONGRATULATIONS to Stefan and Stephanie and Anielle Penny-Larter and Peter Milne who were married here this week and also to Peter Smith, Jacob Chambers, Alice and Joseph Kirby and Lucy Clarkson who were welcomed into the Christian community through Baptism.

PARISH INDIA PROJECT Our monthly fast day is Friday next (3 December). The box for the proceeds of our fasting will be on the 'gifts' table as you come into Church next weekend.
