PREPARATION FOR HOLY WEEK AND EASTER
MINISTERS OF THE WORD: All Readers are asked to come along on Wednesday next (1 April) at 8.00pm to practise for our Passion Sunday Liturgies.
Those taking part in our Holy Thursday and Good Friday Services are asked to come together on Monday 6 April at 8.00pm in Church.
The Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Readers meet on Wednesday 8 April at 8.00pm.

MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION are asked to please check the list in the porch for the Triduum services you are involved in.
SINGING: Please come along to practise our singing for Easter. We gather in the Upper Room on Mondays 7.30pm - 8.30pm.
ALTAR SERVERS PRACTICES: Monday 6 and Wednesday 8 April 4.00pm - 5.00pm.
MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION: For those ministers who were not with us at our meeting last Thursday, when we had a presentation from our Parish Safeguarding Representatives, a letter will be given to you shortly concerning the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) procedure. We are bound to comply with Diocesan regulations in this matter.
It was a disappointing attendance on Thursday - all people in Ministry need to meet for prayer and input and sharing.
CHRISM MASS - Tuesday 7 April at the Cathedral, Middlesbrough. The coach leaves the Memorial Gardens at 9.30am and Our Lady's, Acomb at 9.45am. £7 plus £3 for buffet lunch.
SINGING PRACTICE: We gather on the Mondays of Lent at 7.30pm in the Upper Room to prepare for our Lent and Holy Week Liturgies.
OFFERTORY ENVELOPES: The 2009/10 boxes are available today. Thanks to you who use them as your method of supporting the Church. If you do not already use this system or the Bankers Order and would like to do so please put your name on the list today.
EASTER FLOWERS: A retiring collection will be taken after all Masses next weekend.
CATHOLIC PAPERS: Because of rising production and distribution costs price have increased slightly recently: Universe £1.20; Herald £1.20; Tablet £2.40; Blessed Among Women Special £3.50; Ireland's Own 95p.
CHILDREN WITH LEUKLAEMIA: Sue Brown is running the London Marathon for this charity on 26 April. Sue will be in the porch after the 11.00am Mass today with sponsor forms.
