LENT - 8am Mass on Wednesdays during Lent here at St Wilfrid's. Lent Station Masses: Bishop John invites the priests and people of York to journey through Lent by attending Station Masses - this week: Tuesday 1 April - English Martyrs 7.00pm Friday 4 April - St Wilfrid's 12.10pm. Stations of the Cross Wednesdays and Fridays 11.30am. Lenten Lunches Fridays after 12.10pm Mass in the Upper Room. Penitential Service Saturday 12 April at 2.30pm here at St Wilfrid's. APF RED MISSION BOX APPEAL: Fr Frank Graham thanks all who made him so welcome last weekend. Twenty new people took the Mission Boxes and two have signed up as annual members. MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST -Wednesday 2 April, 7.30pm in the Upper Room. MINISTERS OF THE WORD AND EUCHARIST : Please enter your name on the lists in the porch for the services for which you are available at Easter. SINGING AT EASTER : Practices for singing during the Easter Services, Mondays 7 - 8pm in the Upper Room. All welcome. A coach will leave the Memorial Gardens at 9.30am and will pick up at Our Lady's, Acomb at 9.45am. Buffet lunch provided free of charge. The coach is filling up fast - if you would like a seat, please put your name on the list in the porch indicating your preferred pick-up point. Cost £5. MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE : Engaged or planning to get married? Marriage Care are running two more courses this year - Saturdays 7 June and 15 November at St Bede's Pastoral Centre, Blossom Street.
