DIOCESAN PASTORAL REORGANISATION CONSULTATION PROCESS

Wednesday 3 May, 7.30pm at English Martyrs Hall - to consider the final draft and receive the feedback from the local parishes' consultations.

RCIA restarts after our Easter recess on Tuesday at 7.30pm in the Upper Room.

POLISH MASS - Sunday 7 May at 5.00pm at St Wilfrid's. Confessions before Mass.

CANON MICHAEL'S RUBY JUBILEE - Monday 12 June 06. Concelebrated Mass at 7pm followed by refreshments in the Rectory and Garden. See notice-board in porch.

IRISH NIGHT Saturday 6 May, 8-11pm at St Wilfrid's School. Music by Celtic Blend. Bar available. Tickets £5 inc supper and entertainment - on sale after each Mass. Come for the craic! Proceeds towards Canon Michael's Ruby Jubilee Celebration.

DAY OF REFLECTION Tuesday 9 May, 11.00am - 3.30pm at English Martyrs, Dalton Terrace. The day will be led by Bishop John and is organised by Ascent. See notice for further details.

SUNDAY SCRIPTURE Because of the Diocesan Consultation Meeting at English Martyrs Church next Wednesday our Scripture meetings will resume on Wednesday 10 May at 8pm in the Upper Room.

LAKE DISTRICT DAY TRIP - Tuesday 16 May is now fully booked. If anyone finds he or she is unable to come, please phone the Rectory (624767) as there is a waiting list. The coach leaves Memorial Gardens at 9.30am, picking up at Our Lady's at 9.45am and will be back in York at 8pm. Fare £8.

PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES - meeting for all travelling on Monday 15 May, 7.30pm in the Upper Room.

BISHOP AUGUSTINE HARRIS The official Mass to celebrate Bishop Harris' 40 years as a Bishop will be held at Liverpool Cathedral on 22 June at 6.00pm. Hopefully there will be a coach travelling from York - if you would like to book a seat please put your name on the list in the porch. The fare will be between £10.00 and £15.00. There will be a reception after Mass for all those who attend.

PRIESTS TRAINING FUND a retiring collection will be taken next weekend.

NICHOLAS THORNE whom you sponsored so generously will be saying a few words to us after each Mass this weekend.

WALSINGHAM ASSOCIATION - Next meeting, Wednesday 3 May at St George's Church. Mass at 12.30pm and the meeting will follow in the Sacristy. Visit to Beth Shalom holocaust Centre near Newark, Saturday 6 May. See poster for details.
