This year it was Br Gabriel, so in a nod to the old Twelfth Night traditions he got to sit in the Father's chair and preside at dinner. We have a number of different "beans". There is a 1936 sixpence (year of three kings), an 1848 Maundy tuppence (the year of the English Oratory's foundation), an 1890 sixpence and an enamel Yorkshire Rose. We just have to be careful no teeth are broken!
