The Royal Dragoon Guards parade in front of St Wilfrid's

The Royal Dragoon Guards were on parade in Duncombe Place today before a service in the Minster commemorating their role in the First World War.

The Royal Dragoon Guards can trace its ancestry back to 1685, and was formed by the amalgamation of four of the senior cavalry regiments in the British Army. The regiment recruits mainly in Yorkshire and Northern Ireland.
