FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION: This month our children, their families and the parish are reflecting on the theme of 'Receiving'. Jesus ate many meals with his friends, but this last meal before his death is a special one. By sharing this same meal of the Eucharist, we express and affirm our belief that the whole mystery of the risen Christ is present and active in the Mass as we gather, eat and drink as the people of God. Nourished by this meal, we go forth to show our love as Jesus did, to give our lives as he did - for others. First Communion Celebration Sunday 2 June at 11.00am Mass. Please continue to keep the children and their families in your prayers.
