A Prayer for our Parish Priest

Lord Jesus,

You have chosen our Priest from among us and sent him to us to proclaim your work and act in your name. We give you praise and thanksgiving for our Priest.

Inspire him through prayer to live each day the mystery of your death and resurrection. Send him your spirit to praise your heavenly Father. Put words on his lips and love in his heart to bring to us compassion and healing.

Lord Jesus, we thank you for our Parish Priest.
