Confessions are heard twenty minutes before each Mass, and on Saturdays from 10:45–12:00.
There is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from Monday to Saturday from 11:30–12:00.
Rosary or other devotions take place in church from Tuesday to Saturday after the 12:10 Mass.
The Blessing with the Relic of St Philip takes place after the 12:10pm Mass every Monday.
There are Novena Prayers to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour every Wednesday after the Rosary.
Devotions to Our Lady of York (Our Lady of Mercy) take place in the Lady Chapel after the 12:10pm Mass every Saturday.
Church Opening Times
FOR THE TIME BEING ST WILFRID'S CHURCH IS OPEN ONLY AT TIMES OF SERVICES UNTIL GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE CHANGES
St Wilfrid's is open every day of the week for most of the day. The approximate times are as follows:
- Monday – Friday from 8:00am until 6:00pm
- Saturday from 8:00am until after the 6:30pm Mass
- Sunday from 8:00am until 6:00pm
St Joseph's is usually closed except at times of services.
Visiting priests are asked to bring a valid celebret before being allowed to celebrate or concelebrate Mass at St Wilfrid's, St Joseph's or the Shrine of St Margaret Clitherow in accordance with Canon 903 of the Code of Canon Law.
