Above all, we are here to accompany people as they come to know and love Jesus Christ. We use every means at our disposal to do this, just as St Philip used music, art, picnics, joy, and friendship to encourage his disciples. It was said that he drove others to heaven ‘in a coach and four’. So too, we use music, art, literature, theatre, parties, and friendship to share the joyful love of God with all people.
We care for the Oratory Church, St Joseph’s Church, the Shrine of St Margaret Clitherow and the Chaplaincy to the University of York at More House. We also provide chaplaincy to York Hospital and St Wilfrid’s School, serve as school governors, teach at Oscott Seminary, and support other individual apostolates.
